It’s a joy to count one’s blessings,
For they are many by the score,
Big and little ones each day
From GOD they richly pour…
We’re thankful for the sunshine,
And sudden showers too,
The azure sky, the twilight,
The Autumn’s tawny view…
We’re grateful for our loved ones,
Dear friends and neighbors nigh,
Flowers, trees and bushes,
A cardinal that flies by…
To count our wondrous blessings
Is so truly wise,
For they are very bountiful,
GOD’s gifts before our eyes!
