Guiding Hand
I walk the ways of sin, no longer,
For I've found a guiding hand,
That will lead me and endear me,
On the streets of every land;
And I fear, no more, the shadows,
That have tempted me each day,
For the Lord is now my Shepherd,
And my guide in every way.
He begins with me each journey,
When I kneel to Him to pray,
Always eager to embrace me,
And to lead me through the day;
And He comforts me with blessings,
That were never mine before,
When I walked the streets of sinners,
In the shadows He abhors.
