All Chidren Should Know Jesus
Has God given you children,
and do you thank Him each day,
And are you teaching them
to love Him and walk in His way?
Have you been an example
for your children to learn;
Do they always see you
making Jesus your main concern?
The things that you do
set up the patterns for them,
So let them see Jesus in your life
over and over again.
Nothing that you teach them
should come before Him
Because a life without Jesus
is a life totally dim.
Without Him they will miss
His marvelous light
That will always be with them
each day and each night
Guiding their conscience
in the way they should go.
I'm sure it is exactly what God
would like them to know.
When you do this,
they'll receive His unbelievable joy
Far more exciting and inspiring
than their favorite toy.
Now perhaps you've not been blessed
with this wonderful gift,
But there is another way
guaranteed to give you a lift.
Are there kids down the street
or perhaps right next door
You could pick up for Sunday School
for God's Word to explore?
God wants them in church
because it's what He expects
So He can place His crown of salvation
around those sweet little necks!
A neighbor took me to church
and God planted the seed;
He knew later in life
that it was Him I would need.
I'm so thankful they took me
so I could learn of His way
Because His love guides and rules
in this old heart today.
If we planted Jesus
in every child's heart and marrow,
I promise this world would be
a better place tomorrow.
NEVER miss an opportunity
or let any chance go by
To bring a child to Christ
because I know you know why.
Because when you teach a child
His Way to live,
You've given them the best
you can possibly give.
So influence your children
or others nearby;
Their lives will be fulfilling
when on Him they rely.
But even better than that
is the gift they'll receive
A life without end because
you taught them to believe!
