Hello All, I am Marlene,
I live in Florida and am a widow. Pictured here with me is my beloved husband, Leon, who I lost October 6, 2003...I am 63 years old. I am a retired hairstylist. I have 2 children, both married. My son lives in Tennessee, and my daughter in Indiana. I love Country and Bluegrass Gospel Music and that is what brought me to GOD's Spot. I have been here around 2 years. All these wonderful people are my family now and I love each one. I love the Lord and he is our reason for being at GOD's Spot.
Joe was a dear friend who sent out prayers for Leon for over 3 years.Ater Leon was called home we remained friends.
We had talked on the phone for over 2 years and then on Valentines day we met.We both knew we wanted to be together, Joe ask me to marry him.
Then in April I got the dreaded phone call from his sister that Joe was in the hospital in crtical condition and was being rushed in for heart surgery. He had ask her call me. I spent the night crying and praying as I could not see that God had led us to each other and then would take him from me.
Two months after triple by-pass surgery he flew Florida and we made our committment to each other and God to share our lifes and live for the Lord as long as we both lived.
Thank you God for sending Joe into my life.
We are driving to Tennessee and Indiana so Joe can meet my family. Then going on to NewJersey so I can meet his family. We will be gone about a month but I will be back as God is blssing me each day with this new life.
