Yes its a great site and your info on winter roads stands true as I spend 9 months of the year driving in the stuff and have seen some pretty bad stuff. If people were only more aware that 30+ tons of rolling iron dont stop that easy in the best of conditions maybe they would pay more att. to things you big trucks see as hazards.I dont drive a big rig but work closely with them so keep up the good work and keep the info rolling. My current occupation is writing commercial insurance policies for truckers for the past 21 years. My children are grown and I am tired of office work. I have been seriously considering the trucking industry. I have always been facinated with the industry and have friends who are truckers but they are all men, some who agree this would be a good fit for me and some who think I may be biting off more than I want to chew. SO, I have been doing research and lots of reading and even started to study for a CDL. Even with all I have read and been told good and bad I am still interested and intrigued. I think about the only thing I haven't done yet is to go on a ride along to get a first hand look at trucking. I have had offers from my male trucker friends, but I think I would rather get my first look from a woman's point of view.
I have really enjoyed your site and it has some very good information and is well thought out. Thank you.
